The Ritual: Set an intention, think of something you are very grateful for and light the Palo Santo with a match or a lighter. Gently hold it with your fingers, blow off the fire and wave the smoke in your ceremonial space or walk around the house allowing the house to receive the beautiful and sacred smoke of this sacred tree that has found it’s way to you. If you have a little extra time for yourself, meditate as you inhale the ethereal and mystic scent of the sacred Palo Santo. Let go of any disruptive or distasteful thoughts that have been taking up your time. Learn and practice forgiveness, of others but most importantly of yourself. Palo Santo does not burn for longer times so it will have to be lit multiple times depending on the duration of your practice.
