The Ritual: Tea drinking is a mindful ritual of slowing down and savoring the moment - sip by sip. To begin the process of savoring the Calming Potion, find a simple spot to sit down. Choose a favorite cup. Infuse 1 tbsp of this loose leaf tea in 8 oz of hot water using a tea infuser or in a tea pot. Let it steep for 5-8 minutes. Add a sweetener of your choice if it is too bitter. Grab your cup of tea and sit still with your thoughts savoring the tea and entertaining every thought that crosses your mind. Slowly, you will find yourself relaxing, unwinding and slipping into a zone of comfort and calm. Weighs approx 0.8 oz.

The Benefits:

Passion Flower - Studies suggest that passionflower works by increasing gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA) in the brain. GABA is a naturally-occurring amino acid that reduces activity in the central nervous system. This results in relaxation, enhanced mood, better sleep, and pain relief.

St.John’s Wort - It contains many chemicals that act on messengers in the brain that regulate mood. People most commonly use St. John's wort for depression and mood disorders. There is some strong scientific evidence that it is effective for mild to moderate depression. But please do not drink this tea if you are already taking medications for depression and or pregnant.

Catnip - Catnip tea is most commonly used to treat nervousness and anxiety, along with other symptoms these conditions can cause, such as indigestion and insomnia. Catnip tea was traditionally used as an herbal medicine for restlessness, nervousness and nervous disorders, coughs, asthma, gas, and diarrhea.
